Peter Watt was born in Cambridge on 28th October 1923 (Cambridge Q4-1923 3B:652) son of M. WATT of Cambridge. His mother's forename is not known.

In the 1939 register he was a journeyman baker living at Myrtle Cottages, Ness Road Burwell with Louisa STEED [19-4-1874]. Probate was to this elderly spinster.

Very little has been found about this man or his unit in Burma.



The 2nd Suffolks in December 1943 were in the Arakan Peninsular, Burma, carrying out patrols and readying themselves for an attack in January 1944.
